Voicemail Transcription - Min 15 Seconds

We have had a complaint from a customer who has upgraded to Ent+ specifically for voicemail transcription.

We have been told by 3CX support that it will not transcribe anything under 15 seconds, which is a major problem as most of the voicemails the customer receives are under 15 seconds.

They have asked us about downgrading back to Pro already for this reason.

Has anyone else came across this issue and have a work around? It is a major limitation when we are looking to upsell the Ent+

Voicemails by design are short and yes, 15 second voicemails should be transcribed also.
Must be a mistake - I will check asap and get back to you. I think it should be 1 second or 5 seconds but definitely not 15 sec.

We confirmed and its ok - It can transcribe less than 15 seconds no problem.
Anyway to be safe, we moved it down to 3 - so quick messages like "Call me asap" get transcribed..

How is this change pushed out - Will it be a hotfix update as I have tested short voicemails and received no transcription. In the Parameters tab, If I set to anything below 15 and reboot the server, it reverts to 15 seconds.

This is not controlled in the parameter - which param are you modifying?
Its the transcriber and currently its 7 seconds minimum.
So how short is your voicemail?
For 3 sec voicemails to be transcribed, a new release is required. (Coming soon - we are working on a good good update)
But right now, if the voicemail is 7 seconds minimum, it will transcribe as you can see from my image..

On a u8 system I have confirmed that a 7s voicemail does get transcribed, since @nikolascx gave you screenshots from the future

When changing from Google to 3CX transcription for voicemail we did get a few comments about it. If 3CX can move it down in the future 3 or even 5 seconds would be awesome.
