Voicemail & Zoiper

Hi I am almost finished setting up 3CX (on raspberrypi). Alsmost everything works except Voicemail access from a PC.

Although the keypad tones appear to be recognised the correct passcode entered is always responded as incorrect.
I experimented with disabling the Pin code but now the keypad entries for listening for voicemail are not registering.

I am using Zoiper (on Linux) and I have already expermented with various settings of DTMF -RFC 2833, Inband and SIP Info - all to no avail.
Please note that the system works fine with a standard handset working through a voip adaptor

Any suggestions please?

Might it be a Codec incompatibility issue? If it is being forced (only method it is able to use), into using Inband (audio), then using a low bit-rate Codec usually doesn't work as the audio becomes distorted to the point of not being usable. Try G711a/u

why not using webclient from chrome and stay in 3cx world?

Wow that was quick!

I tried changing codecs but it makes no difference so far. There are alot to choose from though
I'l like to stay with zoiper simply becuase I have another SIP account that is working with it - (although to be honest Ive never used voicemail with that one!)

you change codec from where?
Zoiper? extension? trunk?

I changed the priority list of codecs within zoiper

Zoiper is not supported by 3CX.
Use 3CX Client for Windows/iOS/Android or WebClient instead.
