Is there a way to record indivule voicemail messages for each extension
for example I have two companies using 2 extensions and I wouls like one phone to have "Thank you for calling company one" and the second to say "Thank you for calling company 2"

yes it is possible. even through digital reception or as you said you can have 2 seperate individual voicemail recording for each company as required. Once the account has been setup you can dial 999 or whatever you have as your special menu number enter your extension and password and listen all the available menu in there you will find a option to record a new message.

You can also record your own file and place it in the 3cx installation folder

\Program Files\3CX PhoneSystem\Data\Ivr\Voicemail\Data\<ExtensionNumber>

and call it SaveVMGreeting.wav

We used this method because we used the same voice from the internet for all our prompts.

Are you really mean voicemail?
I suspects that what you need is the pre-answer message to each company.

If im correct you easily can set up two Digital Receptionists with different recordings greeting welcome.

It was voicemail that I wanted and I should have thought to dial the VM extension - Sorry :roll:
