Why not DECT? What do you propose as an alternative? WIFI is not as good in most situations. For example, I have a DECT headset that allows me to walk outside my house more than 100 yards away. I only lose connection once I get behind a hill. So, you must have a reason for not wanting DECT specifically. What is your objection to DECT?

Because the DECT phones don't have the ability to transfer to another user or record phone calls, or any other features

Recording phone calls happens at the 3CX server and has nothing to do with the phone. Transferring a call to another user? In the 3CX world a "user" is an extension. Again, you can transfer a call from a DECT based SIP phone to another extension. So I would love to better understand what DECT has to do with what the phone can or cannot do in a 3CX environment. I'm not trying to be adversarial, I genuinely want to know what limitations I am completely unaware of...Even if you were talking about an analog DECT phone, recording and transferring of calls still works, so I am misunderstanding the problem.

Will an analog dect phone also allow you to listen in, whisper in, etc?

The phone is essentially a stupid device. It just sends/receives audio. 3CX controls features like listen, barge, etc., so yes you can do it with an analog phone.

Of note, you can't initial the listen from the DECT headset. Or really any device, you must do it from the webclient/electron app/windows app

But DECT doesn't allow for Shared Parking whereas other phones do.

As @SweetAction has pointed out, regardless of what phone you are using, DECT or otherwise, Listen, Barge, etc. is handled by 3CX (via the 3CX applications) and is not performed by pressing keys on the phone.
