Unsupported VoIP noob - several inbound calls

Hello, i have set up a 3CX install with a HT813 with a landline PTSN, and want to receive more than one call in the same unique number.. do i have to transfer this number to a VOIP service with more than one channel or if a put a GSM gateway does 3CX "transfer" incoming call to GSM freeing PSTN line for another incoming call.. Dunno if i make sense.

Either works. The VoIP route is better but for the GSM gateway to work your PSTN provider needs to be able to do CFB (call forward busy) so when a 2nd call comes in to that line it forwards it to the number on the GSM gateway. Potentially you'd also want to make sure they do multipath call forwarding otherwise they would only forward a 2nd call (and not the 3+). It's easier to just port it to VoIP.

Cost wise it will be more expensive switch to VOIP since i have this landline for free in our internet package, the same thing for the GSM number i have to spare...
I will try to know if my landline provider supports redirect if busy.

IMO ,It should be a better option to use a supported sip provider and port your number on it and ask for as many SIP channels you need.
you can keep your land line on HT803 used as a trunk and set in first for outgoing calls
