Hi.

I have my 3CX running ok except for a VOIP provider that regularly fails.
Well it does not actually fail... it's my IP that changes and it looses connection to that Voip line.

I made a script that regularly checks my IP and when it changes it restarts the 3CX service.

My question is: is there any way I can restart just a particular VOIP provider or set of providers without restarting the whole 3CX server? Would the 3CX Audio Server Provider be enough?

(I could try it myself but my ip changes every 4 - 5 days or so)

Thanks.

If you have 3CX set to make use of STUN (then 3Cx is aware if your public IP) , then when it changes your new (current) IP should be passed to the providers during each registration, which normally happens once an hour, or less.

I think it would be wise to put your 3cx server with fixed IP. In PT there are many IP's that give fixed ip at no charge, such as Vodafone...
My 3cx server has fixed ip and remote extentions dinamic ip's
