Voipfone Outbound Rule

Hi,

I've gotten inbound calls to work for my DDIs. However, with every config that I have found online, I can't seem to get it to work. All I want to do is set the system up to make calls to the UK landlines and mobile numbers.

From the Voipfone dashboard, I can't see any outbound calls being made.

Device: Softphone (Android)
Firewall Rules check is passed.

Hi James, for testing purposes you can use an outbound rule with prefix 0-9,+ and select the sip trunk as first route, then set this rule in the top position since the system checks the outbound rules from top to bottom and the first that matches will be used.

The sipt trunk mentioned is not a supported voip provider, so you will need to enter in contact with them since the sip trunk outbound parameters must be configured correctly based on their needs. Also ask them the dial plan used, so you know the dial format for local, national and international calls.

Thank you for the help that seems to have changed a few things a different error message is appearing now. I'm getting an 480 error and a 407 error.

I've logged a ticket with VoipFone and asked if they have a means of sending over the SIP field.

Thank you for your help, I know it's not a supported SIP trunk but I have contacted most of the recommended UK main provider and they didn't want to sell their service. I believe because it's a home lab / single-user freelance situation that won't provide to anyone less an 25 users.

Yes you may need to enter in contact with your VoIP Provider in order to solve the issue you have.

If you are still having issues, we can supply you with a sip trunk. We obtain ours from 3cx approved suppliers.

Thanks for sending that over I could try that. I have ended up going with COM-TEL because the setup is easier. But I hope it helps someone else.
