VTiger integration create Contact even if configured to create Lead

Hello,

we're currently running an On premises professional installation and we activated the connection with out VTiger CRM.
The problem is that despite we configured the interconnection to create a Lead on CTiger for each new number on incoming call, it still creates it as a contact.

Is this a bug? How can I solve this?

Vtiger doesn't have a separate table for Leads. Instead, it stores Leads in the Contacts table, and uses the "contacttype" field to specify if the contact is a "Lead" or "Customer". That's what our integration does, it specifies a different value for the "contacttype" field depending on the setting you have configured.
