Hi,

I'm quite new to these devices. However we have installed W59R DECT phones in three of our sites, two use a W80 multicell base and one uses a W60 base. In the settings for the local directory when accessed via IP address, the notes on the side say that it is possible to have a shared directory. Now we have a shared central company phonebook in 3CX which these phones can access, which works fine. However it would be nice to have a shared local directory that all phones connected to that particular base can share. How do I go about this? i.e. one user enters a number and all users can see it. The Yealink manual even mentions adding shared contacts, but nowhere I can see does it show how to setup/turn on this function?

Any help appreciated.

The 3CX provisioning gives a directory listing to the W80, which gets saved in local storage. I think this is probably what is meant by shared directory.

In this case, I don't know if you will be able to do what you want since the phone overwrites its contents daily with what it finds stored on the 3CX server.
