What are the best parameters for the music on hold .wav files?

Format (eg M/U law, PCM etc)
Data, or Audio file?
Sample Rate (eg 44100Hz, 16000Hz)
Bit Rate (eg 16 bit, 8 bit)

Bit Rate (eg 16 bit, 8 bit)

It doesn't matter. They will be resampled to 8000Hz mono 16 bit. Therefore, this format is the most suitable
