I'm sure this question has been asked before, so I apologize in advance, but some help would be greatly appreciated.

I was wanting to see if there was any known way to go from 3 digit (XXX) extensions to 4 digit (XXXX) extensions.

Unfortunately it is not possible. You will need to rebuild your 3CX server from scratch. If you dig around in old forum postings there are some that suggest it is possible with some hacking, but according to 3CX support it creates all kinds of problems down the road. Don't even try.

As above, you need to start from scratch to be positive that the system will work correctly

Or remind people to empty their voicemail box "before the change date", or risk loosing messages.

As craigreilly noted, the same is true of Recordings. Thankfully, 3CX is perfectly happy if you simply copy the correct wav and XML files (in the case of voicemails), or just wav files for Recordings, to the correct folders.

Voicemails Path: C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Ivr\Voicemail\Extensions
Recordings Path: C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Recordings

Note for both voicemails and recordings, each extension has their own folder.
