I have a user that is trying to use the webclient / desktop app to make calls but has no audio.
The mobile app work fine.

Does the webclient / desktop app use the tunnel or some other method ?

They are able to use the 3cx web meeting system without an issue.

Hello @coreybrett81

Have you run the firewall checker and if yes, was it successfully completed? Specifically for the Webclient and Desktop app, the WebRTC ports (10500 to 10999) must be opened on the firewall (front of the PBX). Port guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

Yes, everything turns up green on the the Firewall test.
It works fine for everyone else, just this one user can't use it from his normal location. (It does work when he is elsewhere).
So I think it has something to do with the network he is on.
The 3cx web meetings work fine, and other conferencing apps (teams, zoom).
He only has trouble with phone calls via the web client or desktop app. They ring and connect, but no audio.

Does the webclient send voice traffic via the tunnel ?

No, the Webclient and Desktop app use the STUN protocol for audio. Based on your description, it might be worth checking the connection (router/firewall) at the problematic location.

Web meetings use WebRTC right ? What is the webclient using for phone calls? Is it just SIP/RTP? Is is encrypted ?
