I have an issue with the login time limit of the 3CX web client

  • I am using 3CX V20 installed on Debian 12
  • I provide accounts for clients and require them to authenticate with 2FA
  • Once logged in, the accounts do not automatically log out and remain active on the client's web browser.
  • I feel this is undesirable, as hackers could access the machine when the client is away and obtain information while the Webclient is still active.
  • I want to ask if there is a way to limit the user's active time when they are not using the Webclient?

Hi there.
Be informed that there is no setting/parameters for you to add active time of the user in the Webclient.

Thank you, OlegR, for your support.
Regarding the issue where hackers could access and infiltrate the machine when the client is away and obtain information while the Webclient is still active, we have encountered this problem, and I had to upgrade the security level of my system. This is good. However, I still hope that one day the 3CX development team will consider adding a feature/parameter to set or limit the active time of users in the Webclient.

You are welcome. Thank you for feedback provided, and we will pass it to an appropriate team too.
Since there is nothing to add, I will close this thread.
Have a nice day
