Webhooks for AI, available or on the roadmap

The new AI assistants and receptionists are amazing, but can they break out into other system?.

As an example we want an assistant to send a boss a message, but the messaging tool we use is google chat.

It's easy enough to setup a receiving web hook endpoint in google chat, but is there anyway for the receptionist to trigger that webhook with a payload of the message the AI wants to send to the boss?

Hello,

Webhooks and other external interactivities are on the roadmap, for now their interaction is limited to the PBX - perhaps others have build bridging solutions that might allow you to link 3CX messaging to 3rd party systems.

Excellent news.

No huge rush, plenty to be testing and learning in the meantime.


I think what would be beneficial at some point in the year is one of those roadmap webinars you did a couple of years ago, not with specific timelines obviously but a general indication of what’s to be expected in various quarters etc and ideas on how new features would work, ie integrated into main system or passed off to the CFD.

Just helps partners to get end users excited about up and coming functionality.
