I'm posting a new thread as I've done some more research regarding my previous issue and believe to have found the issue. If your computer lists a web camera (in my case a virtual web camera through VMWare Horizon), then you are unable to join a webmeeting as it sees this and tries to connect to it. I have no option when joining a webmeeting to NOT allow/use the camera. If I disable the virtual camera in device manager then I have no issues connecting to the meeting.

This is likely due to your virtual camera's supported resolutions.

Cameras that don't support at least 1 useable/valid resolution, won't be able to be used to enter the meeting. This is a Google WebRTC internal restriction we've tried to bypass but it doesn't seem possible.

Out of curiosity, what virtual camera software are you using? We used a few different types of software internally for testing purposes and have never had this problem, only when attempting to set a severely incorrect resolution to the camera input.

We're using VMWare Horizon View Desktops which enable a VMWare Virtual Webcam by default. We're also working with VMWare to see if we disable the virtual camera if there's not one physically attached.
