Hello All,
I am trying to configure our 3CX to talk to our CRM (proprietary). I have call lookups working just fine, but for whatever reason when I try to use the call journaling I am getting exceptions (out of the 3cx CRM tool) and I have no idea what they mean and I cant find any info on it via Google.

The error I am getting is immediately after the lookup is performed, but before the http request for the ReportCall is executed:

System.Exception: Unknown expression: ContactID. Part: ContactID.

The lookup does return all the proper data to 3cx the fields are populated properly. But when it gets to the ReportCall it throws this exception and then fails. Any idea? I assume this is coming out of the rendering but much past that do not understand why contactID wouldnt be available to it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you tried using [Contact::ContactID]? I've seen this in some places.

Frederick,
That worked perfectly. Interesting about the scoping of the data - is there somewhere that I can see a full list of the Tokens? I was looking for something that would populate the Agents Name for example that received the call (not just the extension).

The predefined variables are listed here:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/server-side-crm-template-xml-description/#h.vcivldjsa1lz

Also, any output generated during the lookup scenario can be used during Call Journaling, using the "Contact::" prefix. For example, if your lookup scenario generates the output "FullName", then you can take the value during the ReportCall scenario using the expression [Contact::FullName].
