Hi

tried to autoprovision my N670IP with firmware V2.26.0 (V2.26.0+build.fafc63f) behind the windows OS 3CX version 16.0.4.493 ( latest stable version)
Docs I've read :
https://teamwork.gigaset.com/gigawiki/display/GPPPO/3CX

I was several times locked out after autoprovisioning N670IP ; couldn't login afterwards
had to reset basestation N670IP each time ,

Initially I thought that very strong passwords weren't well saved well but finally with trial and error ,I found that login issue only accured after autoprovisioning of the gigaset

I follow this guide/URL: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/gigaset-n670-n870/
actually it seems the same as https://teamwork.gigaset.com/gigawiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=874939536
so this doesn't work as I can't afwards not login gigaset manager url

the same for https://teamwork.gigaset.com/gigawiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=874939509

where I even downloaded the last auto-provisioning templates from
https://teamwork.gigaset.com/gigawiki/display/GPPPO/FAQ+3CX+-+Auto-provisioning+templates

so finally I did this setup 3times and each time I found that the admin password of the gigaset was changed to the password in the provisioning script

I think the reason is in the provisioning script that is copied to gigaset N670 to update the extensions

<provisioning version="1.1" productID="e2">
<script/>
<nvm>
<!-- 15:39 04-March-2019 -->
<oper name="DeleteNotProvisionedHS"/>
<!-- Change the DECT settings to EUROPE -->
<param name="DmGlobal.0.SystemRegDomain" value="EUR"/>
<!-- Change the default Password -->
<param name="WebUIAccounts.1.Password" value="xxxxxxxxx"/> (I replaced the password with xxxxxx)

Any suggestion or is this really a bug ?

Is the password hardcoded in the script? OR is it like an extension and has the password under the provisioning tab?

No, this password was entered in admin zone for 3CX server but passed into the provisioningscript , I guess the wrong variable has been justed as I tried this 3 times by starting from scratch and having always the same issue

Hi @4thiery

For DECT devices, your PBX will auto provision it for you and you can find it here:

If you still have trouble I would suggest to delete the DECT device from the list, and add it again.

This should generate a new compliant password.

Then reset and reprovision your N670.

It should take this new password and you should be able to login successfully afterwards.

No problem, that's what the forum is for!

Glad to assist :)
