Hi there !

I'm struggling with this integration … I have some concerns. I am configuring WhatsApp Senders from Twilio, using Twilio phone number. Everything look good until I send the messages .

Twilio error = 11200
status = connected to WhatsApp

Where I find the access token that configure in 3cx Trunk ?
should I do additional configuration on facebook ?

Thank you

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this no longer works like this.
3CX links directly with WhatsApp / Meta, a provider like Twilio is no longer necessary and won't work on the latest versions of 3CX.

Edit; See also my later reply, WA has never worked via Twilio Messaging. SMS has and still does :-) I got a few things mixed up when posting this original reply.

Thank you ! I don't know about it . I am using Twilio because I need a phone number . I tried to do the configuration without the twilio WhatsApp sender but when facebook sends me the security message I don't receive it in twilio.

Okay, you can just order any 'normal' phone number, also a (business) number you already have with any random provider.
Then, you can just go to Meta's portal and confirm ownership. One step in that process in confirming a code you get by phone, but Meta also does some additional (manual) checks to confirm the number is really yours, so this may take 1-2 business days.

After that, you can register the number in 3CX following their guide. It's not a lot of work and it's quite easy.
The most difficult part is the administrative process with Meta/Facebook, I guess but even that isn't that bad if you follow all steps carefully :)

Let me also clarify my earlier response, I was a little 'mixed up'.
SMS in 3CX has always worked with Twilio Messaging, entering 3CX URL's into Twilio and the other way around. That still works just fine.
WhatsApp in 3CX is new and has never worked with Twilio Messaging or anything like that. It's new and only works (and has ever worked) with the direct Meta/WhatsApp-link as explained in 3CX's documentation.
Sorry for confusing you, I was a little busy when replying earlier :)

Thank you for your time !! I'll make the changes and let you know. I think I was mixed up with Twilio

I do believe you are correct here as I had the same problem using 3CX with Twilio WhatsApp but had no problem with WA integration with 3CX. Twilio was so screwed up they couldn;'t release their (my) twilio number from WhatsApp so i had to buy a totally new number to make 3CX work with WA via Meta Dev portal. So beware even trying Twilio to integrate WA with 3CX. There is no point either once the template functionality gets upgraded in 3CX Twilio will have no rival features for us to consider I don't think.

I got it, you're right. The solution is not to configure WhatsApp in Twilio. In my case, I bought a number on twilio and used that number on Facebook to integrate it with 3CX. I am using the same number for SMS, WA, and Calls, all services working good. Thank you
