There's been so many new versions and in the 4 years that we use 3CX, I've not seen such an essential feature added.
The security and user experience issue that 3CX has is that the login password of the admin web interface is exactly the same as the phone login. That inherently is a very insecure thing to do, because people (at least we do it that way) want to be able to log in their phones easily, without much effort. But this weak password is also used for the web interface, which makes is very easily hackable. 2 Factor Authentication would take away that security whole while keeping the same level of user experience.
So please add it... It's very easy to implement, but the impact is very big.
