where is the option to allow the webclient to act as softphone also

i thought i read in one of the release notes on the way to sp6 that the web client can now take the place of the soft client but this option needs to be enabled in the 3cx configuration somewhere.

am i correct in what i'm saying above?

if so, i can't find that option to enable this feature.
