Which event in the API can I "listen" to for extensions presence changes?

I need to capture when my users click "Do not disturb".

Also is there a way for me to set a useres presence via API?

Thanks.

@VoIPTools has all that and more in their Relay API.

I know .... but my question is about the API it self. :)

Ps. this answer is from my testing account
The Call Control API itself is undocumented and unsupported. The REST API isn't ready yet.

I would strongly recommend using VoIPTools relay to prevent any problems as they are experienced with that API.

I know it is undocumented ... still somebody must know what the event in the API is called when presence is changed?

There is no event specifically for presence status changes. You have to subscribe to Extension/DN events. First you have to know the previous status, then with every event check whether the status has changed. It is a pain in the backside.

Agreed. Tracking that takes a lot of work.

I should point out that the VoIPTools API does include a status change event. On the backend, our Relay listens to all the events and keeps track of presence changes and handles all of the complexity for you.
