Which audio codec is recommended?

Hello,

I would like to know which audio codec gives brilliant voice quality for internal and external calls? I found these audio codecs that give better voice quality, G722 and OPUS. Which one do you recommend? Thanks.

In general one usually wants the default for everything (trunk, Settings/General, extensions) to be the same as what your SIP trunk provider uses, so there isn't any transcoding.

Do bear in mind that major changes have been made in 3CX v18, which is soon to be released, to mitigate audio so it might be worth waiting for it's release and testing it before going through the process of making configuration changes to your current setup.
