Why is "Lunch" status green?

My users finds it confusing that the "Lunch" status is green .. the color green should indicate you are available - but at lunch you are not available, so it should be red.

Isn't it possible for us to change it to lunch=red?

There isn't a default setting Lunch. In Settings/Options there is a section "Rename Available 2 and Out of Office 2 status" where one can rename those, but note one is Available and the other is Out. I'm guessing someone named Available 2 as Lunch. In the web client/app under Settings/Status the two will have different options since the "out" status won't have a call answer timeout, "Busy or Not Registered" options, etc.

To help clear this up a bit, there are 5 different profile statuses:

1. Available
2. Away
3. Do not Disturb
4. Custom 1 (behaves as Available)
5. Custom 2 (behaves as DND)

A small correction to what was said above, Custom 1 is actually named "Lunch" by default but this can be changed globally from within the "Management Console >> Settings >> Options".

That said, if you want to keep a Profile status named lunch which does not accept calls you could rename Custom 2 to Lunch instead.

Ha, sorry, we change it upon install (to "Custom available status" and "Custom out status") for clarity, and I was looking at the "Rename Available 2 and Out of Office 2 status" label above the fields.
