Why new GXP1625 firmware is not supported ??

I updgraded a GXP1625 ipPhone from http://firmware.grandstream.com it give me the latest firmware 10.0.7.18 but in https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/ i can see the supported firmware is 10.0.7.13 but why isn't the latest firmware ?

Because its not tested yet.

Regardless of what you see on the manufacturers website, we only release versions that have been tested with 3CX.

Older versions may have issues that were solved, but also keep in mind that newer versions may have introduced bugs that have not yet been discovered (since it has not yet been tested).

Our recommendation (if you want to be fully 3CX-supported) is to use the version that we provide and have tested to be compatible with 3CX. But don't worry about it, this will eventually be updated as soon as Grandstream informs us that they tested it and have passed all the checks we put in place for compatibility.

So it may be supported when tested, but now can they cause damage ?

The behavior is unknown for untested versions, so we don't know if it will cause any problems.
