I stumbled upon the simonics google voice gateway, apparently back after a year of downtime from technical issues. I'm wondering if this return is from all of the new development, and new APIs at google voice, and wondering if this begs for someone to research 3cx direct integration?

simonics works great so far, but its an unknown factor when relying on it(my trunk resets every now and then, and $5.99 one time fee & history of downtime begs the question will this stay up?)

As far as I'm aware some Obi devices are still able to register with GV, then interface with 3CX.

The problem with developing devices/services that work with GV..is that it is not only "regional" (US centric), it's future is unknown. There was a point in time when it was to stop working with physical devices like Obi, then it wasn't. Not the sort of "product" that a company wants to put time and resources into, only to have the rules change.

I may be wrong, but I'm under the impression that GV is a consumer, not a commercial service.
