Hello!

I received the email apps about mobile apps no longer functioning after April 30th 2022 unless the pbx is upgraded to V18.

Will the v16 windows client continue to work passed that date?

I know the email said Mobile Apps but I didn’t want to assume.

The Windows Client works with v18. As of right now I have heard of no issues with it continuing to work.

That is true, it is indeed being phased out but there is yet no official information on when exactly it will be deprecated.

Just to add to that the v16 windows app will continue to work for as long as it works on windows. Its different from the mobile apps that need to be up to date because the mobile OS is changing all the time.

While I understand that the v16 application will work as long as Windows supports it (which could be potentially a long time due to backwards compatibility), at some point, I have to imagine that the software isn't going to be able to gather information from the PBX for operation due to PBX advancements and re-developments. My question is; will the v16 application receive additional updates alongside v18 application and server updates, or has there been an official end-of-support notification on it.

At the time of writing, there are no plans to continue development for the Legacy Windows App nor will it receive any updates.

Thank you for the response. I will make note and plan for those people who aren't ready for "change" to become accustomed to the new app.
