Hi
During recent testing, during which SBC for windows worked perfectly, I discovered I was not able to reconfigure the SBC. I then tried to uninstall SBC through Wondows control panel and this did not work.
It may be worth noting that the original SBC file I downloaded from 3CX immediately showed an update was necessary when viewed within management console. So when I tried to rerun the original SBC file, downloaded from 3CX, it failed becasue a more recent version was installed.
So basically I was stuck. Unable to reconfigure and unable to reinstall. If anyone finds themselves in the same position, here is how I solved the problem.
1) Attempt to uninstall using control panel.
2) Make a note of the path and file name of the SBC file when it asks for permission to uninstall.
3) Assuming uninstall does not work find the file quoted in second step.
4) Run this file, selecting "install" rather than uninstall which does not work, and it will give you the option to remove the program.
Hopefully that will work for you as it did for me.
I hope 3CX takes note of this problem.
I may have missed an easier option to reconfigure the latest version SBC. If anyone knows how to do this I would be grateful if it could be shared.
