Windows Client v18 dialer issue

The Windows desktop client in v18 always opens the dialer on ringgroup calls. The old 15.5 client never did that. When calls entering a ringgroup happened we would see the caller display / id momentarily unless you chose to answer. Now in v18 the dialer opens even if you dont answer and it stays open on the screen until you close it. On a busy ringgroup, thats not good when you always have to close the dialer after each call that comes in.

In v16, how were you receiving the calls? via the Chrome Extension?

In v18, are you using the Desktop App?

In 3CX 16 we had the full desktop client, not the chrome extension. In 3CX 18 we also have the full desktop client. It seems to happen off and on. ie. just now a call came in and brought the dialer to the front / I had to manually close it. Seems to be random. Its not impacting services or anything. I'm sure it will be worked out over time.

He has a good point tho, having an option to auto-close the dialer when the call ends/is cancelled would be great.
