Good Day,

Can we save the config from Windows (16.0.8.9) then replace it with the Linux server version and have the config import work on the same version?

Also, same question, but with upgrade from 16.0.8.9 to v18?

We're considering moving all of our servers to the Linux OS base.

Thanks.

Backup and restore only cares about the the 3CX version, not the underlying OS. Only limitation is you can only jump one major version. So v14 -> v16 no, but v14 -> v15 yes.

Hi @DrainBamaged,

To answer your questions, yes and yes. Bear in mind that v18 is still an Alpha (albeit a very stable Alpha) and also bear in mind that with v18, the Linux OS is updated from Deb 9 to Deb 10. When ready you can download the ISO here.

Thank you guys. I'm considering this for the major v18 stable release, not before. Cheers.
