Windows XP compatibility

With beta releases of version 11 Windows XP support was removed (or at least it was said so) but with the final release, at least in the documentation, it is said that Windows XP SP3 is still supported. What should we believe? Will updates of r11 still support XP or there will be a time when it won't be supported?

The XP VM is working quite fine and we don't feel the need to upgrade for the sake of upgrade itself.

I would use 7 and above anyway, but it looks like win XP sp3 is in the list. Maybe it will be removed when they make some stuff for win 8 and win 2012 server

yep - maybe they were preparing us for some v11 Service Pack functionality.
