Hello,
This is not a real problem, but I noticed on winter time change this WE, all PBXs did a duplicate backup and I received 2 emails spaced from one hour.

Not sure if something can be set to prevent duplicate ?

Its probably due to coincidence with your backup time. DST changes at a specific time, so whatever you current schedule is, if you move it forward by 1 hour this should be avoided.

Well not so sure this is the right cause, if I refer to time I've received email it shouldn't be in time where the time changed.
One pbx did a first backup at 0:00 and a second one at 1:00 AM (time was not changed at this time)
other pbx did a first backup at 3:05 AM (so after time changed) and did a new one at 4:05 AM

in France we do :
the time change always takes place in the night from Saturday to Sunday, at 2 am or 3 am. When we switch to summer time, we skip an hour to go directly from 2 to 3 hours. When we switch to winter time it's the opposite, we go back 3 hours to 2 hours.

This morning Tuesday 27th of october I received new duplicate backup from another pbx

So for sure hour change is done since almost 48h (saturday night) now, what happens in pbx when changing time occurs?
Can you explain if PBX is creating a completely new backup task ?

I also received notification of two backups, Presumably due to time changes.

Hello,
3 days after winter time change, 3 Pbxs are always sending duplicate backup , This is really a 3CX behavior and not something linked to scheduled backup hour execution

Today 30th of october PBX backup are once more time duplicated with one hour space, what do I need to do to stop duplicate backup?

Brainstorming, what happens if you restart a server? Or re-save the backup schedule?
The US doesn't change until this weekend.

Hello,
It seems to me that the behavior of the PBX is understood, no matter when the backup is scheduled, as soon as we are on the day of the time change, the backups are duplicated until all the pbxs have made at least one backup after the time change. Once this duplicated backup is done then it comes back to a single backup. (mine are scheduled to be once a week)

Ours triggered twice on Monday, the day after the time change (Sunday Nov 1, 2am). Also they ran in the 12:00 am hour:

Nov 2 00:18 3CXScheduledBackup.1.zip
Nov 1 01:18 3CXScheduledBackup.2.zip
Oct 31 01:19 3CXScheduledBackup.3.zip
Oct 30 01:19 3CXScheduledBackup.4.zip
Nov 2 01:19 3CXScheduledBackup.zip

If it was just the time change I would have expected it to trigger twice on Sunday morning (1:18 am and again at 1:18 am). I'll check again tomorrow.

Perhaps there is some logic of "if daily, 24 hours after the last backup" but that doesn't fit with your weekly backups.
