Can anyone tell me how I can do this?

We have shops which get calls from their manager. Manager doesnt want them to know its her calling as she wants to test that they're answering customer calls and they'll always answer managers calls.

Internally no, but if I was the manager I would call from an external number they don't know

Why not dial out through the trunk and then back in though using *5 ?

For 30 seconds, they can live with it. If not, then no verification!

You could try creating a loopback trunk...

1. create SIP trunk with 127.0.0.1:5060
2. create outbound rule(s) for this trunk.

Direct the call back in to the desired extension. I'm, not certain if caller ID will be changed to what is put in the outbound rule for that trunk, or can be blocked. You would have to do some test calls. It would use two simultanious calls, but not go though your provider.
