if we already have the 3cx Live chat and talk setup on a 3cx system is this plugin just getting an update or do we install and setup the WP-Live chat by 3cx?

If you want to use WP-Live Chat by 3CX, you can temporarily deactivate the Live Chat and Talk plugin instead of fully removing it.

In the current version the only difference between the 2 plugins are some visuals. The Live Chat and Talk plugin looks a bit cleaner than the WPLC plugin right now. We'll be working on UI and UX for the next release of the WPLC plugin.

I noticed when using the Live Chat plugin, that the button does not show up in Wordpress with the Elementor template, although I have selected all pages. And it's also not clear if left or right is included/excldued and why there are two tables with the same options. You either have the page included or excluded, you can't have both?

With the Chat & Talk plugin you could just add the code to the page, but with the new Chat plugin you have to rely on the selection option and if that's not working, you have no button.

And finally, just a recommendation: make it clear which plugin you continue with and which one will be outfaded as now both plugins receive updates, which confuses.

After reading https://www.3cx.de/blog/wp-live-chat-3cx-integration/, I'm confused:
The article says that 3CX Live Chat & Talk has been merged with WP Live Chat by 3CX. And offers both plugins for download. To me its not clear, which of the two will be discontinued.

So which of the two is the new, merged version that I should go for?
1) 3CX Live Chat & Talk
2) WP Live Chat by 3CX

I have the same question as KaiK above.

It refers to loading the Live Chat and Talk plugin if already using 3CX. So it is a little confusing as the blog sounded like the features of Live Chat and Talk were merged into WP-Live-Chat?
