Since updating the system we have had several X3U's randomly go offline. We have to reset them and then a little while later they do the same.

Anyone else having the same issue?

@HM_User since your PBX is on the Cloud and hosted by 3CX, how are these phones provisioned ?
Via a Dedicated SBC or a Router phone ?
Also are the phones on the correct firmware ?
When the phones show as Unregistered, the SBC is up and connected to the PBX ?

@NikosT_3CX

Phones are provisioned through the console using MAC address rather than manual

We have V64 as SBC and then the X3U's connected to the V64 in each site.

The phones are all running 2.4.12

The SBC is all up and running and connected to the PBX.

@HM_User how many phones have you provisioned behind each Router Phone ?
Also if possible how many BLFs do you have in total to the phones that are behind each Router Phone ?
While this happens, if you make a call from the Router phone ( test to *777 ), does this work correctly ?

We have 1 or 2 X3U's connected to the V64

There is usually up to 7 BLF per phone.

Making a call from router works and its not all the X3U's with the issue.

Hi,

You are now on V20 Update 10 which has the new firmware management system, and it assigns each phone its correct firmware the first time it connects under U10.

These X3U are older, end of life models so when they happen to reprovision and also do a firmware check they need to reboot.

Just select all X3U from the Phones page and press Clear Firmware.
Newer models don't have this quirk, its mainly some of the older retired models that do this behavior.
