Yealink BH71 Pro not working

We have bought several BH71 Pro headsets and like them, but one of them we cannot get it to work with 3CX. The headset works perfectly for Microsoft Teams and other applications on the laptop but we can't get it to work with 3CX for nothing. The laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad E14.

I tried the same model of headset on a Dell Precision 5570 and it works perfectly fine!

Any ideas for us?

Perhaps on that laptop the device was locked to a single application, locking 3CX out.

Our headset vendor has at least a couple of Yealink techs looking at this. We checked the settings listed in the previous post, and per Yealink tech suggestions, made sure Teams was turned off as well as Yealink USB Connect. This is the message from the end user. It shows as everything is connected. The microphone test works and records what I am saying. The phone rings in the earpiece and connects when you pick up. Then as usual nothing...

What App are you using for 3CX? In browser (which one), PWA, native windows? What version of the previous?

I am having this issue with both a bh71pro and a bh71 workstation connected to yealink phones. the earpieces ring, they announce an incoming call. Pushing the button answers the phone after which there is no audio and the mic apparently not working either. I have both of these fully updated with no luck
