Yealink CP860 - can it function like a normal desk phone?

I'm looking to deploy two Yealink CP860 conference phones (Verizon branded) to be used as "regular desk phones" that are "always on speakerphone".

Do they function as such or do you have to "sign in" every time you want to dial out... etc...

Basically, I'm looking to use it as a glorified speakerphone that will ring when a call comes in and can dial out like a regular phone.

Is this a functionality it can do or am I looking at totally the wrong thing?

Once you provision it, you can literally use it as a deskphone that is always in speaker mode just like you wanted.

The concept of signing in does not exist on our supported firmware. I imagine you mentioned this due to the verizon branded ones you have possibly coming preconfigured this way. If you can reflash them with our supported firmware, and provided they are standard CP860 models, you should be able to get exactly what you wanted.

Is there any way to check if the Verizon branded ones are firmware locked?

The ebay seller says in the listing description: "Factory reset" so I'm assuming there's no pin code then

Other than checking it in person, I don't think so.. Ask the seller and see
