We have a number of handsets and 4 base stations, slaves and masters.
Periodically we have a situation whereby the deskphone user cannot call the DECT handset internally. The dect handset can still make and receive external calls.
I have turned on logging verbose but cannot see any reasons or clues.
User ext 204 is initiating a call to ext 240, 245 or 225 and the call does not complete.
Any help or clue to troubleshoot appreciated. also hgere connects of the phones to bases.

This is not enough log to see what's happening.
We need the full log so we can see the invite and replies.

There's only 3 invites in that log, which ends at 3:05, and they are to 228, 221, and 247.

Having thought about the setup and your reply - thank you. it would seem that the request isnt even reachnig the pbx so I am wondering whether the router phone managing all of th eextentions is not up to th ejob. Looking at the advisories, a T53 should only manage 10 extensions/handsets. The client has added many more over the recent weeks and we have not made any additional T53's a router phone to accmodate the extra burden.

Hi Chris,

Also Yealink has limitations on how many connected handsets and how many active handsets you can have.

Look into these limits using their documentation, and adapt your setup accordingly (even if you had an unlimited SBC in theory). These limits also change depending on codecs used.

This is outside the scope of 3CX and therefore hardware specific, so it would be a good idea to research it and become aware of these HW limits when adding base stations to a DM. You can always use the pcap feature on the DM to inspect what actually happened if you are familiar with Wireshark.
