Yealink Firmware Update Failing

Hi,

Have two different models of Yealink IP phones that are both failing to update. T41s and T19P E2. I'm thinking the issue is due to the existing firmware being too old to update to the latest supported versions. Is there anywhere I can find older versions of the software so I can try installing in steps.

Existing firmware versions:

66.83.0.55
53.83.0.55

The T5 series had that issue and it's listed on https://www.yealink.com/en/solution-detail/resource-for-3cx (T5X-New-Firmware(Please-read-the-Upgrade-Guide-before-upgrading)) but I don't see alternates for others. Maybe ask Yealink?

If you know the number and 3CX supported it at one time you can use 3CX's list at https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/ and change the download URL, e.g. https://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/v180/templates/firmwareupdates/yealink/T5XW-96.86.0.74.rom

I was having the same issue the other day with some Yealink T41Ss. I have not tried it yet, but someone said I would need to contact Yealink to get the in between firmware versions to fully upgrade.

get the 66.84 version of firmware. then it will auto update via management console. I haven't dealt with the 53.xx but i assume it is similar.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I got the 66.84.0.90 firmware from the Yealink Website, and the update still failed.

Looks like I'll have to get in touch with Yealink if I want the few T41Ss I have fixed.

Worked a dream. As did the 53.84.0.35. Both updated to the latest version automatically via the management console thereafter.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I got the 66.84.0.90 firmware from the Yealink Website, and the update still failed.

Looks like I'll have to get in touch with Yealink if I want the few T41Ss I have fixed.

Try the earlier version DrLloyd provided. Worked for me.
