I have systems that are on the latest release software and the phones won't update the firmware. I have been going into the phones and doing a manual update. Some of the phones won't update the firmware and I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this and what can be done to fix it.

Hi Tarheels,

This depends on the phone vendor, and the firmware they are currently running.

Sometimes if your firmware is too old, you need to manually upgrade them step by step until they have a version recent enough that allows them to update to the latest version the PBX offers.

Best to check on the vendor's site to see their notes, they will usually tell you what minimum version they require before they can move to the latest version.
