Yealink phone and bad echo

@Callinectes Note that we did not had such reported issues. Now the fact that you experience this does not mean that is a 3CX issue. Our recommendation is to contact Yealink as this can be related with network or even a faulty device.

You should just take it back from the user and see if you can replicate it yourself:

- Ensure you have the firmware 3CX provides
- Ensure handset is plugged into the handset port (not headset port)
- Factory reset and reprovision on fresh extension - don't change any settings on the device or connect any peripherals
- Make some internal calls and see if you have echo, and some external ones and compare results
- If external only, then it could be trunk related, if both then it's probably the device.

Loudspeaker mode will obviously not suffer from this, phones have aggressive echo cancellation in this mode but not in handset mode for obvious reasons

Did you ever solve this problem? I have a t57W with bad echo issue.

No, we never resolved it. We believe it is a problem with the hardware since no matter what settings we changed, parts/accessories we swapped out, or what firmware we reverted to, the problem would not go away.

I'm going to try running with the settings below disabled on the T57w:
