Recently I have been having a lot of complaints about headset issues with Yealink phones and Plantronics headsets. The most common complaint is that the headset completely stops working requiring a the attached phone to be rebooted completely which fixes the headset for a period of 1-15ish days.
This issue has seemed to happen for T48S, T48U, T57W and T56A Yealink phones. All headsets are Plantronics connected via Plantronics APU76 cables, however I have recently switched some of these out to test using a Yealink EHS40 cable. This is across 5 different 3CX instances over the last few months
All 3CX systems are currently version 16.0.8.9. Phone firmware is all up to date, I have rolled phones back to some slightly earlier versions for testing but seem to have the same issues.
I am a bit unsure of where to go with these options, I am waiting to see how the phones and headsets go over the next week or two using the EHS40 cables but otherwise I am unsure any help would be appreciated.
