We are migrating from Cisco phones to Yealink phones. This Yealink model supports CDP and I can see the phone via show cdp neighbor interface command on my Cisco switch.
We are running the usual auto qos commands:
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/24
description
switchport access vlan 110
switchport mode access
switchport voice vlan 114
trust device cisco-phone
auto qos voip cisco-phone
spanning-tree portfast
service-policy input AutoQos-4.0-CiscoPhone-Input-Policy
service-policy output AutoQos-4.0-Output-Policy
My question is - has anyone confirmed that Cisco switches with the "trust device cisco-phone" statement will recognize these Yealinks via CDP and trust the EF 46 markings from the phone?
Thanks,
Amir
