Hi Team,

I created a new extension for a customer and then I added a new Yealink T31P to the extension.
Phone took all the provisioning details but it is not registering.
Current firmware version is 124.86.0.40
Hardware version is 123.1.0.0.2.0.16
Under account tabs all the details are grabbed by the phone.
Registration failing.
Can someone please help.

Do you have a sbc or router phone for it to connect to the pbx through? This phone isn’t a router phone.

Yes, we do have SBC.
17 phones are already registered previouly.
This is the brand new phone that is not registering.

The phone is on an older firmware than it should

Upgrade the firmware of the phone
See if it is in the IP blacklist, remove it.
As the phone already has its config, reboot the phone. It should connect.

Otherwise, you might need to reprovision it.

Thanks for your reply Nicholas.
I upgraded firmware to the you suggested. Rebooted phone after firmware update.
But phone still didn't register.
I factory reset phone and then reprovisioned phone.
It grabbed configuration from 3CX but still not registering.
I also checked 3cx portal and there is nothing inder IP blacklist.
New phone is also not showing under phone Tab in the portal and there is no option to add it.
I have attached the screenshot for reference.
Can you please suggest further.

In the Phones page, click on PNP Phones and see if your phone is showing there. Does it work when you assign it to the user? (you would need to delete the phone from the IP Phones tab of the user to be able to assign it)

Hi,

Phone is not showing etiher under PNP phones or Phones tab.
And under Phones or PNP Phones Tab there is no option to add phone.
Currently Phone is assigned to user from IP Phone tab under Users.
Phone has grabbed configuration from Provisioning Url but it is not registering.

This is your red flag: if the SBC cannot see the phone, then probably the phone cannot reach the SBC either.

It can provision yes, because this is done remotely from the PBX, but to register you must be able to reach the SBC.
