yealink t41p wipe previous supplier locked firmware

Hey, Im looking to find out how i can wipe the previous providers login details for good from a yealink t41p, Ive updated the firmware, reset using OK button and on the web GUI. Ive even let 3cx update the firmware aswell. I still have some small issues.
Any idea how to forget or wipe back to FACTORY before going to an ISP lol

If it doesn't work, then there is the possibility that the set cannot be unlocked/reset. Some providers will have custom firmware installed, that cannot be overridden.

Yeah, tried that, On 3cx it gives me two versions of firmware for this phone one 3cx and another from the original supplier i am assuming. But there must be away around it as they have to be able to get it on in the first place. My issue is once i have provisioned phone works well but the web gui does not work as its not got a valid certificate.

The set may have the settings burned in ROM, and unalterable. You might try doing a Google search, for using the set with a provider other than the one were were using. Include the providers name, in the search, that always helps. Someone else may have found a way around it.

Huh? You don't need a valid certificate to access the web interface, and the firmware has nothing to do with the certificate being valid/invalid. The validity of the certificate is based on the trust relationship between your computer and the issuer of the certificate, in this case, Yealink. If you don't have the Yealink root accepted as trusted you are going to get a certificate error. This is normal.

It's possible the Yealink automatically gets a configuration after a factory reset by using the Yealink Provisioning server (RPS). So it will not revert back to a completely empty phone, but always uses a pre-set configuration.

After factory resetting the phone, check if it gives an alert, something like 'Updating Configuration'. If it has one, this alert will stay active for a bit. If there is none, it will show a 'skipped' alert.
