At the moment, you can only push new firmware onto local phones, not ones that are provisioned through a SBC. There might something though you can try, assuming you provisioned the phone using the default template, not manually:
1) Go into the extension settings -> phone provisioning tab, and here in the "Provisioning Method" drop-down select "Local Extension", then press OK.
2) Go to the "Phones" node, highlight the extension and now "Upgrade Firmware" might be enabled.
3) If it is press it and download the firmware. Once it downloads, the phone will do nothing.
4) Go and undo all the changes you made in step #1.
5) Reboot the phone manually and on boot, it should look for new firmware on the server that, because you downloaded it in step #2, it should find and install it.
To be honest I have not tried this but I have a feeling it may work.
