Hi,

we running into the following issue making calls using CTI with a connected headset:

The telephone will dial the number, but it will switch from the headset (same behaviour for cord headset YHS32 and bluetooth headset) to the speakerphone. The headset led is active (green) and than goes inactive while placing the call. In order to get the phone on the headset we have to press the headset button on the phone again.
Incoming calls work fine on the headset.

We upgraded the firmware to 28.81.0.70 (from 28.73.0.48) but nothing changed. We are using 3cx V12.

Maybe it is because 3cx V12 uses the MAKE call and not full fledged CTI for Yealink phones?

Any help appreciated

Best regards Frank

Hi @Frank D,

What headsets do you use? Do they have function buttons?

Hi Panayiotis,

Hi @Frank D,

What headsets do you use? Do they have function buttons?

We experience the same behaviour for varios Bluetooht Headsets, connected via the Bluetooth Dongle. as well as the officical Yealink YHS32, connected via a normal cord attached to the headset port.

The Bluetooth headsets do have function buttons, but we were not successfull in figuring it out (accepting calls works fine). The Yealink YHS32 does not feature a function button.

@Frank D

As it seems the call routing is device dependent. We do not have a specific setting for this, and as we cannot test it at the moment, it would be best if you seek assistance with Yealink or someone who already faced a similar issue in our forum.
