Has anyone else had any trouble with the voicemail indicator lights going away on their Yealink phones after upgrading to V16? We upgraded 3CX from 15.5 to 16.0.4 last week, and upgraded all the phones to the correct new firmware (66.84.0.95), but now the end users are saying that they no longer see an indication light when a new voicemail is waiting.

If I'm understanding correctly, in V16 the MWI is enabled under "Phone Provisioning," under "Choose how to configure Power LED notifications." We currently have this set to Voicemail Only, but nothing is actually lighting up when a new voicemail comes in. Is this the correct way to ensure that MWI would light up for a new voicemail, or am I missing something?

Have you tried resetting the phone and provisioning it ?

Last night I tried factory-resetting and then reprovisioning, and it has not made a difference: there is still no visual indication of a new voicemail.

Are you using default template?

Yes, we're using the default template for Yealink SIP-T46S. I was wondering if the default template already allows for MWI display, or if I have to customize it to turn some setting on?

In the extension, phone provisioning tab, what is "Choose how to configure Power LED notifications" set to? Perhaps try changing that to something else and back to voicemail?

The setting for voicemail, is not set to 'Send as attachment and delete from mbox' ?

If you log into the phone gui, what are the setting for Power LED under Features - you should see 'Voice/Text Mail Power Light Flash'

The ''Voice/Text Mail Power Light Flash" setting in the phone gui is currently set to "Enabled", which seems like it ought to be right. Maybe there's a different setting somewhere else that is counteracting this one, but I would be surprised if the default 3CX template would have a mistake like that if nobody else is experiencing this problem. Maybe it's something faulty with my batch of phones? I upgraded 3CX a few days ago to v16 update 4, with no changes.

We'll just have to start using voicemail notifications via email so people know when they have new messages (currently we've had Email Options="No email notification" under the Voicemail settings, but we'll probably change this going forward.)
