Hi. Probably something very simple, but I'm having an issue with T48S phones. When a user programs a BLF/Speed dial at the phone, the settings are not being retained. Is there a setting I'm missing to allow user level programming?

the BLF key need to be programmed within the 3cx management console under the phone provisioning tab, then re-provision the phone, the new settings will stay.

Users should be able to program their speed dials and BLF keys at their phone without access to the web client, no? I have a client that wants to limit access to the web client to users.

Simple fix, remove the provisioning link from the phone. All settings will remain on the phone.

No, in 3CX they are managed from the webclient or the management console because we autoprovision the phones.

If you want you can do what @TBWD said and the phones will no longer be provisioned by the PBX, sp the manually entered settings will no longer be overwritten.

The only downside to this is that the PBX can no longer reprovision the phone with changes (ie. if you reset your passwords for security, or program other changes from the management console, or if new templates are released that fix issues discovered later etc)
