Yealink T48U USB Port

Hi All,

After a security audit, we've been asked to turn off the USB ports on our 100+ Yealink T48U ports. I'd normally do this through a Template, but this customer is on a 3CX hosted solution.

What are my options here?

Hi, customs templates are not an option with Hosted by 3CX, if you plan to use custom templates which are not supported you will need to do it with On Premise or Self Hosted.

Thanks for replying. I thought as much - so the options are either:

a) Migrate to a self/partner hosted system
b) Swap all of the IP phones

Are there any license migration options to help them move from 3cx hosted to partner hosted, rather than buy a complete new system?

Your license key works just fine, no need to buy a new server. You may be able to get a refund on the hosting portion of 3CX but that may be lost.
