Hi,

I've got 3 Yealink T57W phones that are pulling information from 3CX, but not actually registering the accounts that the phones should be connecting too.
the phones are also not registering on 3CX.
I've set up a few phones under a different 3CX account which worked fine after some firmware updates (I've checked the firmware on the phones are compatible with 3CX)

Even when trying to get them into a different 3CX account it is taking the information from 3cx but not sending the information back.

The User account on the Yealink T57W is stuck on registering and is not going any further.

Has anyone encountered an issue like this before.

Thanks In advanced

HI,

What type of registration did you configure on the phone?

- LAN
- STUN
- SBC
- Routerphone?

And where is the PBX, and where is the phone? (local, cloud)

The firmware should be version 96.86.0.74 specifically.

The phones are done using STUN,

The PBX is in the cloud and the firmware is the 96.86.0.74 version
Thanks

It's time to switch to using SBC. Luckily, the T57W now has the 3CX SBC built into its firmware.

To do this, log into the new 3CX Webclient Admin (not the management console) and edit your extension.

Copy your MAC and delete the current IP phone from there.

Then add the phone again from the same tab (remember, all this has to be done in the webclient admin, not the MC) and you will have the option to choose a router phone.

The instructions are all here: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t5-series/

Just one important detail: after you finish the setup in 3CX, don't reboot the Yealink. Factory reset it instead, and this should be your very last step.

PS: the public IP of the phone may have been blacklisted - check and remove it while the phone is factory resetting
